They have spread across most of their homeworld, while iron smelting and forging techniques have enabled them to forge crude but effective tools and weaponry. This civilization is currently in the equivalent of an Iron Age. Primitive metalworking and the first written languages have appeared, while cities and larger communities are taking shape. This civilization is currently in the equivalent of a Bronze Age. They have mastered fire and developed a rudimentary spoken language, but we have yet to see any evidence of metallurgy or written communication. This civilization is currently in the equivalent of a Stone Age. It's just that this game has immense potential.Primitive civilizations exist in various ages of development they slowly go through. Everything outside your star system is vaguely - I would say - mapped, like for instance we know Alpha Centauri is 4 ly away from us, its position in the firmament and the fact that there's an Earth-like planet orbiting in the Goldilock's zone around its star, but we didn't actually really "discovered" the stellar system yet. I mean, in Stellaris' early game, the whole galaxy is uncharted. Though I was wandering, can we expect Starfield to be something like Stellaris' early game?
